Year 4 – 4C

Welcome back,

This term, in History, the children will be looking at how the Maya civilisation compared to what was happening in England during the same period.

We will be investigating changing states (Solids, Liquids and Gases) in our science lessons.

The children will continue to develop their writing skills in English as we are reading Where the Forest Meets the Sea and Jungle Explorer, two books which focus on the damage humans are causing to the environment. To continue this theme, in guided reading we are reading Fantastically Great Women Who Saved the Planet.

In our maths lessons, we will continue to explore decimals and then we will be introducing some new learning during this half term – time and money.
