Each KS2 class has elected two representatives onto the School Council.
Our representatives for this year are:
Year 3 Lewis Quilliam & Ruby-Rae Nagle
Year 4 Lillie Cheney & Freddie Connolly
Year 5 Harrison Stewart & Mia Brighouse
Year 6 Sadie Johnson & Kyreese McNish-Whitton
Due to the extraordinary year we are in at the moment, due to Covid19, the School Council are not able to meet as normal. Within the class bubbles they will support Pupil Voice as and when they can.
Hopefully, In the Spring term they will be supporting Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 9th February, by designing posters to be displayed around school! They will be completing a survey on MFL Spanish on Friday 12th February asking the children what they enjoyed and would like next time.
Hopefully, the School Council will also plan exciting activities to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight (Monday 22nd February – Friday 5th March 2021)
We look forward to our school council taking an active role promoting a whole school awareness campaign on caring for our local and world environment.
Finally, we will be celebrating World Book Day on 4th March 2021 with a variety of activities.
We wish our School Council good luck with these events!
