Each KS2 class has elected a representative on to our School Council.

Our current reps are:

Y3 – Mia McNichol, Lewis Crowley.

Y4 – Alicia Tierney, Christopher Pickering.

Y5 – Caitlin Burke, Katelyn McGovern.

Y6 – Conner McGuire, Corey Shelley.

Weekly meeting are held every Friday to share Pupil Voice across the school.

In the Autumn term the children will be helping with some important events in school. They  will be helping to fundraise at our MacMillan Coffee Morning on 28 September 2016, and also organising cake sales for the same event.

They will be helping to coordinate celebrations for the school’s 60th anniversary on 30th September.

They will also take part in a Kirkby Collaborative Anti-Bullying meeting and help to organise events for Anti Bullying week in our school.

In the Spring term they will be supporting Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 7th  February, by judging a poster competition.  They will be completing a survey on MFL Spanish on Friday 10th February asking the children what they enjoyed and would like next time.  They will also be having a School Council stall on the Community Enterprise Day –  to raise funds for our local community.  The School Council will  also plan exciting activities in the New Year to celebrate in school Fairtrade Fortnight:  Monday 27th February – Friday 3rd March 2017.
